With a strong emphasis on working together, Dr Jeffery is driven to provide a high quality clinical service that maximises strengths and supports clients to move towards where they want to be. Dr Jeffery is passionate to work in partnership with her clients and to develop a unique therapy experience that has been specifically tailored to meet your needs.
Therapeutic Approach:
Because 'one size does not fit all', Dr Jeffery is often integrative in her approach, drawing upon different psychological models and evidence based practices to meet the needs of her clients. This can include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Personal Construct Psychology (PCP) and Narrative frameworks.
Dr Jeffery is keen to adopt an open and honest relationship with each person she works with. At the start of therapy she provides information on the psychological models that are used in your work together to enable you to make sense of your experiences and explore different ways of coping with life's challenges and struggles.
